Heartbreaking BMW Crash in Delhi: Family Claims Father’s Life Could Have Been Saved
In a tragic incident that has shaken Delhi, a fatal BMW accident at Dhaula Kuan has left a family devastated. Navnoor Singh, son of the victim, is speaking out about what he believes was a critical mistake that cost his father his life. The crash happened on September 15, and Navnoor insists that rushing his parents to a nearby super-specialty hospital like AIIMS could have made all the difference.
Navnoor shared his painful story with , explaining how he learned about the Delhi BMW accident from a family friend. "I got a call saying my parents were admitted to New Life Hospital in GTB Nagar," he said. The accident occurred around 1 or 1:30 pm when a BMW driven by a woman slammed into their motorcycle. "Something was definitely off. Instead of taking them to one of the many super-specialty hospitals right near Dhaula Kuan, they were driven 20 km away to a place with no proper facilities."
His father, who worked at the Ministry of Finance and lived in Hari Nagar, was declared dead on arrival at New Life Hospital. "People there said instant death after an accident is rare," Navnoor added. "If only they’d gone to AIIMS or another nearby hospital, he might still be with us." His mother survived but suffered injuries, waking up in a delivery van en route to the hospital. "She was in the passenger seat and turned to see my father lying down," he recounted.
What makes the story even more shocking? Navnoor claims New Life Hospital in GTB Nagar belongs to the woman driving the BMW and her husband, who also had minor injuries from the crash. "They took a taxi to the hospital after the accident, but my parents were sent in a delivery van. I’m not sure if this hospital is reliable," he said. The BMW driver and her husband are reportedly receiving treatment there too.
Delhi Police confirmed the details of the BMW accident in Delhi. The couple on the motorcycle collided with the luxury car, and their bike then hit a bus on the left. Eyewitnesses told police that the woman was behind the wheel of the BMW at the time of the collision. After the crash, she and her husband quickly took a taxi and admitted the injured to the hospital.
The hospital later alerted the police about the death and injury. Officers seized both the BMW car and the motorcycle, while the crime team inspected the Dhaula Kuan accident site. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also joined the investigation to uncover more facts.
This Delhi road accident highlights the dangers of rash driving and the importance of quick, proper medical aid. As the family mourns, questions linger about the choices made in those crucial moments. Stay tuned for updates on this ongoing probe.
