Rajasthan Deputy CM Slams Bihar Congress Over AI Video Targeting PM Modi and His Late Mother
In a sharp reaction from Rajasthan, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa has come out strongly against an AI-generated video shared by the Bihar Congress. The controversial clip, which has gone viral, shows characters that look like Prime Minister Narendra Modi dreaming about his late mother, Heeraben Modi, scolding him over his political decisions. Bairwa didn’t hold back, calling it a sign of a "lowly mentality" and reminding everyone that the public is closely watching the Congress party’s moves.
Speaking to on Friday in Jaipur, Bairwa said, "I strongly condemn such a lowly mentality. We’ve seen this from Congress before—they’ve used indecent language in Bihar in the past too. The people are observing everything."
This isn’t the first time the Bihar Congress has faced backlash. Just earlier this month, during a Congress-led Voter Adhikar Yatra in Darbhanga, Bihar, an unidentified person jumped on stage and hurled abuses at PM Modi and his mother. That incident sparked a huge uproar, with the BJP hitting back hard at opposition parties like Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). BJP leaders targeted Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, accusing them of fueling such attacks.
PM Modi himself addressed the issue at a recent event, expressing deep hurt over the alleged abuses against his mother. "Mother is our world. Mother is our self-respect," he said. "I never imagined something like this would happen in the culturally rich state of Bihar. My mother, who lived to 100 and had no connection to politics, was insulted by RJD and Congress. This isn’t just an attack on her—it’s an insult to every mother, sister, and daughter in the country."
The AI video has added fuel to the ongoing political fire in Bihar, highlighting tensions between BJP and the opposition ahead of key elections.
