Hyderabad – Telangana’s chief minister, A. Revanth Reddy, told the Yadav community in Hyderabad that the state cares about their political prospects and will keep all welfare schemes open to them.
The remarks came during the “Sadar Sammelan,” a cultural gathering organized by the Sri Krishna Sadar Sammelan Utsav Committee. Reddy promised the Yadavs that the government will address any grievances and that he is always ready to meet with them.
He also urged the community to help grow Hyderabad. “Yadavon ka Khadar… Hyderabad Sadar” is a proverb that speaks of trust, and Reddy said the Yadavs have been vital to Telangana’s history and future.
At the ceremony, former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, BJP State President Ramchander Rao and other dignitaries joined ministers. The event highlighted the Sadar festival, a buffalo carnival celebrated every Diwali by Yadav families who bring decorated bulls and compete for prizes.
In 2022 the Telangana government declared the Sadar festival a state festival, boosting cultural pride and tourism. Reddy praised this step and thanked the Yadavs for keeping the tradition alive.
The chief minister’s message was clear: Telangana supports the Yadav community’s political participation, welfare rights, and cultural heritage.
