Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami kicked off the first meeting of the State-Level Steering Committee right here in Dehradun on Friday. Officials gathered at the Secretariat to dive deep into the progress of key government schemes, both from the state and the Centre.

Dhami led a thorough review of flagship programs covering everything from agriculture and rural development to urban growth, health, education, women and child welfare, jobs, social security, digital tech, environment, and sports. He urged everyone to speed up these initiatives so more people in Uttarakhand can reap the benefits quickly.

“Transparency, accountability, and teamwork between departments are non-negotiable for making these schemes work,” Dhami stressed. He made it clear that Uttarakhand aims to rank among India’s top states, and no slacking off will do. To boost efficiency, he pushed for smart use of digital tools to track progress and ensure timely info reaches everyone.

Dhami highlighted how coordinated efforts will help farmers, the poor, women, and young people get real support. In talks on agriculture and energy, he ordered faster rollout of solar-powered pumps under the Pradhan Mantri KUSUM Yojana. “This will give farmers steady irrigation, cut down on energy costs, and go green for the environment,” he said.

He also called for quick completion of road links to leftover villages via the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Better roads, Dhami noted, are key to opening up economic chances and daily life for folks in Uttarakhand’s remote hills.

The meeting zeroed in on health, education, and job creation too. Dhami reaffirmed the government’s focus on quality healthcare and schooling for all. He directed teams to ramp up skill training, self-employment drives, and startup support for youth and women, aiming to lift living standards across the board.

Wrapping up, Dhami said success depends on everyone pitching in—from officials and elected leaders to local communities. “Regular chats with representatives will keep things on track and maximize gains for the public,” he added. At heart, he emphasized, public welfare drives everything, and all departments must step up with full commitment.
