Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan joined the chorus of well-wishers for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on Wednesday. In a simple message on X (formerly Twitter), Vijayan wrote: “Warm birthday wishes to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi. Wishing you good health and happiness.”
PM Modi, now in his third term as India’s leader, received birthday greetings from leaders across the country. State chief ministers, Union ministers, and other dignitaries all shared their messages. Social media buzzed with posts from political figures, BJP workers, and ordinary citizens celebrating the occasion.
Like every year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) kicked off “Seva Pakhwada,” a two-week service drive to honor PM Modi’s birthday. Party members organized blood donation camps, free medical check-ups, cleanliness drives, and community welfare programs in cities and towns nationwide. In Kerala, the BJP state unit also rolled out similar activities, praising Modi’s strong leadership on both national and global stages.
Vijayan’s gesture fits the tradition where leaders from different parties set aside politics to wish the Prime Minister well. Other chief ministers and top leaders echoed similar sentiments.
A quick look at PM Modi’s journey: He started in public life with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), climbed the ranks in the BJP, served as Gujarat’s Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014, and has led India as Prime Minister since 2014.
Even with Kerala’s Assembly session underway—where BJP has no seats—the party’s outreach continues. Notably, Union Minister Suresh Gopi won the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat earlier this year, giving BJP a foothold in the state.
As messages flood in from every corner of the nation, Vijayan’s warm wish highlights the spirit of unity on PM Modi’s special day.
