In the last two weeks, eight convoys loaded with Emirati humanitarian aid have made their way into the Gaza Strip through Egypt’s Rafah Border Crossing. This push comes as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to help Palestinians amid tough times, all under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
These convoys rolled in with 128 trucks carrying more than 2,000 tons of vital supplies, like food and materials for shelter. It’s a big boost for people in need.
Since the Rafah crossing reopened on July 27, the total UAE aid delivered to Gaza has topped 12,000 tons of various essentials. Teams from the UAE based in Arish, Egypt, handle every step—they carefully load the trucks, track the journey across the border, and make sure the aid reaches those who need it most inside Gaza.
The UAE has ramped up its work since the reopening, doubling down on relief operations to ease the humanitarian crisis in the Strip. This aid plays a key role in cutting down suffering, improving daily life, and getting basics to the most vulnerable families.
The UAE stands strong in its promise to back the Palestinian people, soften the blows of the current situation, and support brothers and sisters in Gaza every step of the way. (/WAM)
