Tel Aviv – Oct. 11, 2024 – After new talks aimed at ending the Gaza conflict, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said they will not accept any foreign government in Gaza.

The groups warned that rules over Gaza belong solely to the Palestinian people, even as they welcomed Arab governments and the international community to help rebuild the strip.

They added that the first part of the agreement is now in place and that they will keep pushing for the release of remaining Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
