Quetta, Nov 24 (LatestNewsX) – A well‑known human‑rights group warned that Pakistani forces had arrested more than 15 Baloch civilians in Balochistan, adding to an already worsening human‑rights crisis in the province.

Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ) said that on 21 November, during a fresh wave of operations in Dera Bugti, the Frontier Corps and the Counter‑Terrorism Department (CTD) entered several houses and detained over 15 people.

Nine of those taken were named Qasair, Jeha Khan, Bugti Khan, Shabeer, Mangal, Hassan, Rasheed, Noroz and Islam.

“These raids show an ongoing pattern of mass detentions with no information on the detainees. Families report fear, pressure, and no access to any legal process. This raises serious concerns under international human rights standards that protect civilians from arbitrary arrest,” the BVJ stated.

BVJ called on the UN Human Rights Council, the European Commission, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and other global watchdogs to intervene immediately, demanding independent verification, increased transparency and the safe return of everyone who has been taken.

The organization also pointed out that Pakistani forces have made two more Baloch civilians disappear.

According to BVJ, on 20 November soldiers seized Bilal Wahid from the Chitkhan area of Panjgur district. His family said he had no political ties and worked hard every day to support his household.

“The pattern of taking young earners has grown across Panjgur. Each case deepens fear in the district and leaves families without income or answers,” the rights body stated.

On 18 November, men linked to a Pakistan‑backed death squad abducted Dur Jan from the Malik Abad area in Kech district.

BVJ relayed that witnesses saw Jan taken in front of a shop in an area that has experienced repeated raids. Families spoke of long waits and a complete lack of information.

“Forced disappearances continue to target workers and students. Communities face rising pressure. Authorities must account for every detainee,” the BVJ said.
