Seoul, Dec 3 (LatestNewsX) – A young man in his twenties was found dead after reportedly falling from a motel in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, where he had fatally stabbed two teenagers and severely injured a third. Officials say a teenage girl made a 112 emergency call from the motel around 5:05 p.m., the same time police arrived on the scene. The suspect was lying outside the building, while inside a bathroom the girl and two boys were discovered with stab wounds. The woman, one of the boys and the attacker were later pronounced dead; the remaining boy is still in critical condition. Police report that the suspect checked in alone at about 3 p.m. and apparently arranged a meeting with the girl, who was believed to have arrived with the two boys before the attacks occurred. Authorities are still determining the exact chain of events.
In a separate incident earlier in October, a woman in her sixties died after she and her husband were assaulted with a knife at their restaurant in northern Seoul. Police at the Seoul Gangbuk Station seized the attacker—also in his sixties—at the scene and intend to seek an arrest warrant for murder charges. The husband, who underwent surgery after being stabbed, remains in critical condition. Prosecutors say the suspect targeted the couple after being angered by not receiving a lottery ticket that had been offered as a promotional gift to customers who ordered drinks at the establishment in Suyu‑dong since July. The restaurant has been giving 1,000 won (about US $0.70) lottery tickets to patrons ordering beverages.
