Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri just made her family a little furrier by welcoming a new puppy named Lychee home on Sunday. The star, fresh off her hit role in “Dhadak 2,” shared the adorable news on her Instagram, posting sweet photos of her and Lychee cuddling in the car.
In the clips she uploaded, Lychee’s already exploring his new world—playing with a toy on his cozy bed and getting to know the two cats who already rule the house. Triptii captioned the post: “Our family just got bigger 🐶 Welcome Home lychee 💓😢,” adding a touch of emotion to the furry addition.
Fans and friends couldn’t resist chiming in. Actress Patralekhaa commented, “Awww” followed by three red hearts. One follower gushed, “You with your pet is awesome dear” with fire and heart emojis, while another simply said, “Pretty little baby.” A cheeky user joked, “You just kept two enemies in one house,” nodding to the classic cat-dog dynamic.
On the work front, Triptii Dimri keeps the excitement rolling with a packed lineup. She’s teaming up with Shahid Kapoor in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming action thriller “O’ Romeo,” where she’ll share the screen with veteran Nana Patekar. This marks their fourth project together after “Kaminey,” “Haider,” and “Rangoon.” Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film was shot in stunning locations and hits theaters on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026.
Triptii’s also stepping into big shoes, replacing Deepika Padukone as the lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit” alongside Prabhas—her first time working with the “Baahubali” superstar. She has more gems in store, including “Ma Behan” with Madhuri Dixit, “Animal Park” opposite Ranbir Kapoor, and an untitled flick with “KGF” star Yash.
