On Monday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that she was proposing a “full travel ban” on unnamed countries she said were “flooding” the U.S. with dangerous migrants, following a meeting with President Trump.
In a tweet on X, Noem wrote: “I just met with the President,” and added, “I am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that’s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies.”
She followed up with a statement that emphasized the nation’s founding values: “Our forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom — not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard‑earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to AMERICANS,” the DHS chief said. “WE DON’T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.”
A DHS spokesperson told The Post that a list of countries that would be affected by the proposed ban would be released “soon.” The story is developing, and updates will be posted as they become available.
