President Rakesh Tiwari thanks Bihar govt after Rajgir International Cricket Stadium come under BCA

In a major boost for Bihar cricket, the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) has received a big step forward. The Bihar government has given the go-ahead to hand over the control of the upcoming Rajgir International Cricket Stadium to the BCA. This move is seen as a historic moment that will bring new energy and opportunities for cricket in the state.
Although the official handover hasn’t happened yet, the government has issued instructions to complete all necessary formalities soon. Once finalized, the BCA will begin managing the stadium’s operations, maintenance, and cricketing activities. This will allow players in Bihar to practice and compete in a modern, world-class facility.
BCA President Rakesh Tiwari expressed his excitement about the development. He said, “While we already have an agreement for the Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna, taking charge of the new Rajgir stadium will open up amazing opportunities for our players. They will get to train and play in a top-quality stadium, which will strengthen Bihar’s cricket infrastructure.”
He also praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his vision and support. Tiwari added, “This is a proud moment for Bihar. Our players will get the chance to hone their skills on international-level grounds, which will help them perform better nationally and internationally.”
Tiwari called this decision a “golden chapter” in Bihar cricket history. He thanked the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and the sports department for their support. He is confident that with these developments, Bihar cricket will reach new heights in the coming years.
This move marks an exciting new chapter for cricket fans and players in Bihar, promising a brighter future for sports in the state.
