To celebrate its 120th anniversary, the historic Knickerbocker Hotel is offering an extravagant New Year’s Eve package priced at $120,000. The hotel describes the offering as “a once-in-a-century celebration” and “the city’s most elevated, turnkey New Year’s Eve experience.”
The package transforms the holiday into a meticulously planned adventure. Guests receive a three‑night stay in one of the hotel’s luxury suites, a multi‑course dinner at the on‑site Charlie Palmer Steak IV, and exclusive access to a private St. Cloud Rooftop pod overlooking the Times Square Ball Drop – just 150 feet away from the world’s most‑watched countdown. The rooftop experience includes bottle service and a champagne sabering ceremony, where the bottle is opened by striking the top with a saber.
On New Year’s Day, diners are treated to an additional dinner at the hotel’s Akoya sushi restaurant, followed by a lunch at Nordstrom’s Italian‑inspired Wolf restaurant. The package also brings in upscale perks from the nearby Nordstrom Flagship on West 57th Street. Those attending receive a full beauty and fitness treatment: blow‑out, manicure and pedicure, hair and makeup styling, and wardrobe curation.
