Here’s what Luigi Mangione, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Ghislaine Maxwell and other celeb prisoners are set to be served for Thanksgiving

Here’s what the reporters found: In the middle of November even high‑profile felons—those charged with murder, sex crimes, and other serious offenses—will get a chance to sit down for a Thanksgiving feast inside federal prisons. Three facilities are offering holiday meals on Thursday, each putting a special menu on the table for inmates who can’t leave the door.

At the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Luigi Mangione, the accused killer of a UnitedHealthcare chief, and the alleged sex‑dungeon torturer Howard Rubin are staying, the prison will serve a classic roast turkey with mashed potatoes, baked sweet potato, brown gravy, and cornbread dressing. The same complex keeps several other notorious figures—such as the Alexander brothers, who face charges for drugging and raping dozens of women, and past inmates like Ghislaine Maxwell, R. Kelly, and Sam Bankman‑Fried—who are pending trial.

Fort Dix, a low‑security Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey, hosts Sean “Diddy” Combs while he serves a 50‑month sentence for transporting prostitutes. That prison will also serve Thanksgiving turkey, the same cornbread dressing and baked sweet potato, along with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, whole‑wheat bread, fruit, and an assortment of holiday desserts.

The most extensive spread comes from the minimum‑security Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. There, Maxwell, the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” fraudster Jen Shah, and Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes are all on sentence. The camp’s menu will include cornbread dressing, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, gravy, and several kinds of pies. All three facilities will also offer non‑meat options—veggie stir‑fry, tofu, and soy “chicken”—to accommodate varied tastes.

Both Fort Dix and Brooklyn’s holiday meals are slated for lunch. The timing of the Thanksgiving dinner at the Texas camp hasn’t been disclosed yet.

Beyond the food, the article noted that Brooklyn’s MDC has previously suffered from power outages and reports of maggot‑infested food, while the Texas camp—often nicknamed “Club Fed” for its gym, yoga classes, music programs, and other amenities—is praised for its comparatively comfortable conditions.

In short, Thursday’s Thanksgiving dinner inside federal locks will let these high‑profile inmates—Mangione, “Diddy” Combs, Maxwell, Shah, Holmes, and several others—break bread together, even while they wait for trials and sentences in the ongoing courtroom dramas.
