Indianapolis teen De’Jon Darrell Fox Jr. ID’d as Kentucky State University student shot dead on campus
At Kentucky State University, a gunman’s attack this Tuesday left 19‑year‑old De’Jon Darrell Fox Jr. dead and another student hurt. Police say the shooter, 48‑year‑old Jacob Bard, was involved after a brief “physical altercation」 that escalated into gunfire. Fox was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced deceased.
Bard isn’t a current student, but his family is linked to the campus because two of his sons play on the university’s baseball team, according to the Indianapolis Star. He was taken into custody and charged with murder and assault.
