NY DoorDash driver arrested for sharing TikTok video of passed-out naked customer hides from cameras outside courthouse
A DoorDash driver from Upstate New York was taken into custody after she posted a TikTok clip showing a customer who had fallen asleep on a couch, wearing only a few pieces of clothing, inside his home. She has said she was the target of sexual harassment, but law‑enforcement agencies found the man was simply drunk and unconscious when she delivered his meal.
Olivia Henderson, 23, appeared in the Oswego City Court on Thursday for her first arraignment. She was charged with two felony counts: unlawful surveillance, second degree, and the unlawful distribution of a surveillance image, first degree. During the hearing, her lawyer entered a not‑guilty plea and the judge, after consultation with prosecutors, granted her release without bail.
Henderson’s TikTok video, which went viral before being taken down, contained the line, “My customer requested that my order be left at their front door, and when I arrived at their house, their front door was wide open, and they were within eyesight of the front door, laying on the couch, indecently exposed to me.” The clip, which had gathered almost thirty million views, also showed a half‑naked man and suggested the customer had exposed himself to her.
The delivery service deactivated her account after the videos were uploaded, stating that “Posting a video of a customer in their home, and disclosing their personal details publicly, is a clear violation of our policies.” The company added that this was their sole reason for deactivating both the driver’s and the customer’s accounts during its investigation.
While heading out of the courthouse, Olivia’s father guarded her from reporters and cameras. The two kept silent as they hurried toward their car.
If convicted, Henderson could face up to eight years behind bars. She is scheduled to return to court in January.
