Peter Greene, known for his roles in “The Mask” and “Pulp Fiction,” was discovered deceased in his Lower East Side apartment on Friday afternoon, his manager confirmed to The Post. The 60‑year‑old was found unresponsive in his Clinton Street home around 3:25 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, police and Gregg Edward—his manager of ten years—reported.
“He was a terrific guy,” Edward told reporters that evening. “Truly one of the great actors of our generation. His heart was as big as there was. I’m going to miss him. He was a great friend.”
Greene had also appeared in “The Usual Suspects” and was set to begin production on a project called “Mascots” with Mickey Rourke in January. The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of his death.
