Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sucks up to fellow felons, organizes Thanksgiving dinner for 1,000 inmates

The former rap star, convicted of transporting people across state lines for sex, is spending his sentence at the low‑security federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey. In October, he was handed a four‑year, two‑month term and a $500,000 fine for his role in a national sex‑trafficking ring. Despite his tarnished record, the 56‑year‑old rap mogul has been putting together a Thanksgiving feast for the inmates.

“Diddy” aided the effort by partnering with the group Bankroll Bosses, buying extra food from the prison commissary and getting it to the other inmates. “Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat… everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holidays,” he told US Weekly through his publicist.

The meals were assembled over two days by fellow prisoners and delivered to hundreds of inmates in multiple housing units. Without traditional kitchen gear, the guys improvised with makeshift tools and their prison ID cards to chop and boil the food. “The ‘chefs’ here make it taste like grandma cooked it,” one former gang leader, B.I., bragged. “A lot of people don’t have anything… This was a way we give back.”

The rapper, who once hosted the infamous “freak‑offs” – lavish, degrading orgies – has come across as a more compassionate figure behind bars. Yet the darker side of his past remains in sharp focus.

In 2024, a shocking surveillance clip surfaced that captured Combs violently assaulting his then‑girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, in a hallway of a Los Angeles hotel. The footage shows her leaving a room at the InterContinental in Century City, bags in hand, only to be chased by a towel‑wrapped Combs who pulls her to the ground, kicks her, and later drags her toward a room before walking away.

Records and video evidence also point to Combs staging “freak off” sexual orgies at many of his high‑profile parties—some of which reportedly involved forced sex with women. Prosecutors argue that these events were far from consensual.

Separately, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has opened a fresh inquiry into a sexual‑assault claim against Combs. The “Bad Boy Records” founder was charged with masturbating into a garment that belonged to the late rapper Biggie and throwing it at music producer Jonathan Hay in 2020; Hay also alleged that Combs shoved his genitals into the producer’s mouth.

A lawyer for the ex‑rap star has denied all accusations as “false and defamatory,” stating that “he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a media circus.” Legal counsel Jonathan Davis added that the rapper is eager to resolve the matter in court, where decisions rest on admissible evidence rather than unsubstantiated rumors.
