Star high school wrestler accused of ripping girl’s hair out while forcing her to have sex
An 18‑year‑old wrestler from Oskaloosa, Iowa, has been charged with sexual assault after police say he forced a woman to have sex by gripping her hair so violently that it pulled out chunks. The victim’s scalp showed clear spots where hair was ripped out, and she immediately told others at the home what had happened. Police used the wording “used force to have sexual intercourse” in the arrest report.
The accused, who is a student at Oskaloosa High School and competed at last year’s state wrestling tournament, was booked on a third‑degree sexual assault charge and released on a $10,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 12.
The Oskaloosa School District has confirmed it is aware of the allegations and is cooperating with law enforcement. “To our understanding, the alleged incident did not take place on school property,” the district said. “The student has not attended in‑person classes for approximately one year.”
Kaiden Parker had qualified for the Iowa State Wrestling Tournament in 2025, finishing fourth at 132 pounds in Class 2A. He had previously placed sixth the year before, according to Sports Illustrated.
