Bethany Abigail Terrill, the 37‑year‑old owner of the Bat Cave Salon in Malden, Massachusetts, has been arrested for threatening and attacking federal agents. While a federal immigration officer was trying to arrest an undocumented immigrant last month, Terrill filmed the agents and called them “monsters” and “Nazis.” Federal prosecutors say she also shouted that she loved the death of Charlie Kirk and threatened to kill the agents.
According to the Department of Justice, Terrill refused to back down when the agents ordered her to retreat. When an officer tried to detain her, she resisted, fled, and required several agents to subdue her. Prosecutors say body‑cam footage and Terrill’s own recordings captured her statements and threats.
The judge who heard the case released Terrill Thursday on conditions. She must stay away from any law‑enforcement officers, submit to US Probation and Pretrial Services, attend regular mental‑health appointments and abstain from alcohol. She faces up to ten years in prison if she is convicted.
Federal agents are now investigating the incident and the hairstylist’s claim that she was “coming for you” and “didn’t like Nazis in America.” The case has drawn attention to the rising tensions between federal immigration law enforcers and local activists in the Boston area.
