Lynch met with India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry Special Secretary Rajesh Agrawal. They discussed key steps forward in negotiations for a mutually beneficial India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Lynch led a team from the US Trade Representative’s office on September 16. The group held productive talks with Indian officials from the Department of Commerce. Both sides agreed to ramp up efforts for an early trade deal that benefits everyone.
