Trump presses Bondi to prosecute his enemies including Letitia James, Adam Schiff in Truth Social post: ‘They’re all guilty as hell’

President Trump took to Truth Social over the weekend to vent his frustrations with Attorney General Pam Bondi, urging her to go after some of his biggest political rivals. In a fiery post, he called out former FBI Director James Comey, California Senator Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, claiming they’re “guilty as hell” but facing no consequences.

Trump shared that he’d seen more than 30 statements and social media posts from supporters complaining about the same issue: “all talk, no action.” He didn’t say who showed him the material, but his message was clear—he wants the Justice Department to step up on these high-profile cases.

This isn’t the first time Bondi has drawn heat from conservatives. Critics have slammed her for how she handled the Jeffrey Epstein case and her recent comments suggesting hate speech doesn’t fall under First Amendment protections. Trump also zeroed in on a messy nomination in his administration: Erik Siebert, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, who stepped down amid pressure tied to a mortgage fraud investigation involving Letitia James.

Trump announced Siebert’s withdrawal just after midnight on Saturday and quickly tapped his former lawyer, Lindsey Halligan, for the role. In his post, he blasted Siebert as a “Woke RINO” with a “bad Republican past,” backed by two top Democratic senators. Trump insisted he fired Siebert, not the other way around, and claimed there’s a “great case” against James that legal experts agree on. “We can’t delay any longer—it’s killing our reputation and credibility,” he wrote, pointing to his own two impeachments and five indictments as proof that justice needs to move fast.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer fired back, calling Trump’s outburst a “real threat to democracy” and warning it paves the way for dictatorship.

Less than two hours later, Trump flipped the script, praising Bondi as doing a “great job” leading the Justice Department. He described her as “very careful, very smart” and a true patriot, but said she needs a “tough prosecutor” in Virginia—not someone with Democratic ties.

When reporters asked Trump on Sunday if he was upset with Bondi, he denied it. Instead, he stressed the need for quick action on investigations into Schiff, James, Comey, and others. “They were ruthless and vicious to me—I was impeached twice and indicted,” he said. “We have to act fast. If they’re not guilty, fine. But if they are, charge them now.”
