A video showed three teens getting pulled over in Florida when they tried to take part in a TikTok “door kick challenge.” The sheriff’s office says the trio—two 14‑year‑olds and one 13‑year‑old—were lurking near a house on Sweetbrier Branch Lane when emergency responders arrived after the homeowner called to report people “attempting to kick their door in.” The homeowner, who reportedly had a gun in hand, told the operator that they were ready to shoot if the intruders returned.
When deputies cleared the scene they found the youths crouching in dark clothing and gloves. The officers cuffed them and loaded them into the back of a squad car. One of the teens was later charged with criminal mischief after the front door was damaged. The sheriff’s office warned that the “door kick” stunt—where participants sprint up to a home, kick the door, and flee—can turn deadly. They reminded the public that it isn’t a harmless prank; armed residents may be forced to use deadly force, and the consequences for the teenagers could be life‑changing.
