Wild new cockpit audio reveals moment Alaska Airlines pilot tried to crash plane mid-flight: ‘Just tried to shut our engines off’

“He’s talking about the Horizon—we need to make an emergency landing because someone just tried to cut our engines off. We’re heading straight to Portland, now,” the crew reports.

Emerson explained later to authorities that he had consumed psychedelic mushrooms two days before, and he believed he was dreaming when he attempted to sever the plane’s fuel line.
