A shocking and brutal attack has left a Dallas community reeling after an Indian-origin motel manager was killed and beheaded in Texas. Chandra Nagamallaiah, a 50-year-old man who ran the motel, became the victim of a horrific machete assault that ended in his decapitation.
Local reports say the nightmare unfolded on a Thursday morning when Nagamallaiah told Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, 37, not to use a broken washing machine. Things escalated quickly because Nagamallaiah used a woman to translate the instructions instead of speaking directly to Cobos-Martinez, who got furious and grabbed a machete.
A chilling video that’s gone viral on social media captures the terrifying moment: Cobos-Martinez chases Nagamallaiah with the machete, attacking him relentlessly until the manager was fatally wounded and beheaded. The footage shows the suspect kicking the victim’s head into the motel parking lot before tossing it into a dumpster like trash.
In a heartbreaking twist, Nagamallaiah’s wife and son rushed out from the front office to stop the violence. They begged Cobos-Martinez to halt the attack and tried to protect the victim, but he kept going in his rage.
Police caught Cobos-Martinez as he tried to run away from the scene. He’s now locked up at Dallas County Jail, facing capital murder charges. Court documents reveal he’s an undocumented immigrant, and the investigation into the full motive behind this gruesome machete attack in Dallas is still underway.
The extreme violence of this Texas beheading incident has sparked widespread outrage and fear among locals. Families in the area are shaken, and many are calling for answers as authorities dig deeper into what led to this tragic loss of life.
