Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent warm birthday wishes to his “good friend” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrating Modi’s incredible achievements for India. In a touching video message shared on X by Netanyahu’s office, he said, “Happy birthday to my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Together we will take our partnership to new heights.”

Netanyahu praised Modi’s leadership and highlighted the strong bond between India and Israel. He added, “You’ve accomplished so much for India in your life, and we have together accomplished a great deal in the friendship between India and Israel. I look forward to seeing you soon because we can bring our partnership and our friendship to even greater heights. Happy birthday, my friend.”

Today, PM Modi turns 75. Born on September 17, 1950, in Mehsana, Gujarat, he rose to prominence as the state’s Chief Minister for three terms from 2001 to 2014. Since 2014, he’s served as India’s Prime Minister, now in his third term, driving growth and global ties.

The India-Israel relationship stands out as a powerhouse of cooperation in defense, technology, agriculture, and innovation. Over the years, both nations have built a solid partnership based on shared goals and mutual respect, making Israel one of India’s top allies.

This isn’t the first time Netanyahu has reached out. Just last month, on India’s 79th Independence Day, he congratulated PM Modi and the Indian people. In another message on X, he noted, “Congratulations to my dear friend PM Narendra Modi and the people of India on your Independence Day. Israel and India are two proud democracies, bound by history, innovation, and friendship. Our nations have achieved much together, and the best chapters of our partnership still lie ahead.”

These gestures highlight the growing India-Israel friendship, promising even brighter days for bilateral ties.
