Rashmika Mandanna is soaking up the sun in Italy right now, filming scenes for the exciting sequel “Cocktail 2.” She’s starring alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in this highly anticipated romantic drama.

The actress shared a fun glimpse of her time on set via Instagram, posting a series of photos that capture her playful side. One snap shows Rashmika dozing off with a adorable hair clip stealing the spotlight. Another has her pulling a silly face, using her hands for extra goofiness. She also posted a shot of herself jogging under Italy’s stunning blue skies, and wrapped it up with a pic of a tempting ice cream treat she enjoyed during the busy shoot.

“Italy – you beauty!!! ❤️ You have me for a couple of days and I hope amazing memories are created ❤️ #Cocktail2,” she captioned the post, adding some red heart emojis for that extra charm.

The “Cocktail 2” team kicked off their first major shooting schedule in Italy, and they plan to wrap up there soon before heading back to Mumbai in a few weeks. The next phase of filming should start after Diwali in 2025, with the movie hitting theaters sometime in 2026. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan, the storyline remains a closely guarded secret for now.

Director Homi Adajania has been teasing fans lately with behind-the-scenes looks. Recent photos featured Kriti Sanon striking a pose in a sleek black outfit, while Rashmika appeared focused during a gym session.

This sequel builds on the original “Cocktail” from 2012, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in a hit romantic tale.

On top of that, Rashmika has another big project lined up: “Thama,” where she teams up with Ayushmann Khurrana. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for “Munjya,” the film follows a passionate historian who digs into ancient texts and stumbles upon scary vampire myths as eerie supernatural events unfold. “Thama” is set to thrill audiences with its Diwali release this year.
