Gujarat will celebrate 24 years of rapid progress this week, marking the anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first year as the state’s chief minister. Why It Matters
Vikas Saptah is more than a celebration; it’s a showcase of Gujarat’s achievements and roadmap for the future. The week’s events highlight how the state’s policies—such as GST reform, Swadeshi initiatives, and smart infrastructure—have delivered tangible benefits to ordinary people. By engaging youth, farmers, and members of the cooperative sector, Gujarat aims to build a shared vision for growth until 2047.
As cities and villages across Gujarat participate, the Development Week underscores the state’s commitment to inclusive progress and the role that leaders like Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel play in driving change.
