Actor Maddie Phillips recently stepped into the spotlight at Comic Con 2025 in Los Angeles to promote the second season of the hit superhero drama Gen V. In a chat with , she shared how the experience felt like a thrilling mix of nerves and pure excitement.
“Going into the convention, I was pretty anxious,” Maddie told us. “I didn’t know how I’d handle all the energy and the crowd. But everyone was so sweet, it was wonderfully positive. I’m excited to do it again.”
The Gen V season 2, a spin‑off of The Boys, premiered on Prime Video in September. The eight‑episode run stars an expanded crew, including Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, London Thor, Derek Luh and Asa Germann. Before the new season hit screens, Germann opened up about his own experience working on the series.
“This was a monumental moment for us,” he said. “It’s a milestone that changes your life in a big way, and we’re thrilled to share it with fans.”
Maddie echoed that connection. “There are a few people who understand exactly what you’re going through. What’s special is that we share something so specific we can relate to one another in ways we can’t with anyone else. It’s truly unique.”
Directed by Michele Fazekas and created by Eric Kripke, Gen V season 2 continues to deliver superhero drama and fresh storytelling on Prime Video. Whether you’re a longtime fan of The Boys or new to the world of Gen V, the season’s premiere keeps the action and charm on full display.
