Milind Soman Praises PM Modi’s Fitness Drive at Namo Yuva Run Launch
Actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman kicked off the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s (BJYM) exciting ‘Namo Yuva Run’ campaign in New Delhi on Sunday. He shared his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him not just a fan favorite but a true role model for staying fit. The event celebrated PM Modi’s 75th birthday and aimed to inspire young Indians to embrace fitness.
The launch happened at the BJP headquarters, drawing a crowd that included Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and BJYM President Tejasvi Surya. Soman, known for his love of running and health, took the stage to explain what fitness really means. "Fitness isn’t just about pumping iron or getting those six-pack abs," he said with a smile. "It’s about handling life’s pressures and staying active to do what you love. True fitness lets you live your purpose every day."
Soman called the Namo Yuva Run an "amazing" initiative, especially for its massive scale. It plans to bring together a whopping 10 lakh youth across India for a simultaneous run—something he’s never seen before, not even worldwide. "This is a first-of-its-kind event," he added. "But one run isn’t enough; we need consistency to make real change. Let’s keep the momentum going!"
As a long-time advocate for fitness campaigns, Soman tied the run to a bigger cause. He highlighted how physical activity fights drug abuse and promotes positive living. "The country and the world stand united against drugs," he noted. "Staying fit helps us build stronger, healthier lives."
BJYM chief Tejasvi Surya, who is also an MP, announced key details about the Namo Yuva Run. The big day is September 21, right on PM Modi’s birthday. "We’ll host runs at 75 locations nationwide, with 10,000 to 15,000 young participants at each spot," Surya said. "That adds up to nearly one million youth running together—making it the largest and most inclusive run in India!"
This campaign serves as a heartfelt tribute to PM Modi while pushing for youth fitness and anti-drug awareness. It promises to unite young Indians like never before, encouraging everyone to lace up their shoes and join the movement. If you’re into fitness, PM Modi news, or youth events in India, this is one to watch!
