Jaipur Pink Panthers Crush UP Yoddhas 41-29 in Thrilling Pro Kabaddi League Match

Jaipur’s fans erupted in joy as the Pink Panthers grabbed their first home win of the season, dominating UP Yoddhas with a solid 41-29 victory at the packed SMS Indoor Stadium. This Pro Kabaddi League showdown on Saturday showcased the two-time champions’ firepower, led by star raider Nitin Kumar’s stunning Super 10.

Nitin Kumar kept his hot streak alive, racking up 10 points with clever raids that left the Yoddhas scrambling. Teammate Ali Samadi wasn’t far behind, scoring nine raid points, while Reza Mirbagheri shone in defense with four tackles. Deepanshu Khatri and Aryan Kumar added three tackles each, helping the Panthers secure a rare 10 tackle points—their first such haul in five matches.

For UP Yoddhas, raider Gagan Gowda fought hard with 15 points, including his fourth Super 10 of PKL Season 12. Sumit Sangwan chipped in with four tackles, but it wasn’t enough to stop the home team’s momentum.

The match kicked off slowly for Jaipur, with UP Yoddhas taking an early edge. Shivam Chaudhary nabbed a bonus point, and Bhavani Rajput landed a two-point raid. Gagan Gowda joined the attack, pressuring the Pink Panthers’ defense and building a lead.

But the tide turned quickly. Nitin Kumar and Ali Samadi fired up the hosts, with Samadi’s two-point raid tying the score at 5-5. Reza Mirbagheri’s key tackle triggered the first All Out, handing Jaipur a three-point advantage before the timeout.

Post-break, the Iranian stars Ali Samadi and Reza Mirbagheri took control. Samadi’s explosive raids led to another All Out, stretching the lead to 10 points. By halftime, the Pink Panthers held a commanding 23-12 edge in this high-stakes PKL encounter.

UP Yoddhas came roaring back in the second half, with Gagan Gowda leading raids and Sumit Sangwan snagging his first tackle to narrow the gap. Yet, Deepanshu Khatri’s Super Tackle kept Jaipur’s 10-point buffer intact.

With the lead secure, the Panthers controlled the pace, frustrating the Yoddhas. Sumit Sangwan pushed with four tackles, but his team couldn’t close the double-digit deficit heading into the final quarter.

Jaipur stayed aggressive, sealing the win with Nitin Kumar’s second All Out of the night. Gagan Gowda ended strong with a Super Raid for UP, but the damage was done. The 41-29 rout marks a big boost for the Pink Panthers in their home Pro Kabaddi League campaign, delighting fans in Rajasthan.
