Fans and fellow celebs flooded Massey with congrats messages, but the real surprise hit when business tycoon Gautam Adani stepped in to praise him. Massey shared photos from their special meet-up on social media, calling Adani a “visionary” and thanking him for the shoutout at the Adani Green Talk event. “Absolutely stoked to have been appreciated & honoured by the man himself Shri. Gautam Adani Ji,” Massey wrote. He highlighted the platform’s focus on change-makers, social entrepreneurs, and initiatives that benefit society. Massey also gave shoutouts to Sudipta Bhattacharya and Mahaveer Jain for what he called an unforgettable evening.
Right after the National Award win, Massey poured out his emotions online. “I’ve been thinking since yesterday की मैं क्या लिखूँ? कैसे आप सबका शुक्रिया अदा करूँ? (What do I write? How do I thank you all?) And I’m still unable to,” he posted. He kept it simple from there: “So hopefully a simple thank you from the bottom of my heart would suffice. I’m grateful beyond words for your continued support in my journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you each one of you. This dreamlike life is only because of you.”
His wife, Sheetal Thakur, couldn’t hold back her pride either. She posted pics of Massey with his shiny new award, writing, “Just when I feel I couldn’t be more proud, you give me another reason to be (teary eyes emoji). Congratulations on your first National Award. It has been my honour to be your loudest cheerleader in every room you walk in. Loads of love (red heart emoji). Wifey.”
