
Massive Turnout for Indian Navy’s THINQ 2025 Quiz Competition
New Delhi: Over 35,000 teams have signed up for the Indian Navy’s exciting national quiz event, THINQ 2025. The big finale happens on November 14, and a Defence Ministry official shared this update on Friday.
The semi-finals and finals will take place at the stunning Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, on November 13 and 14. This quiz targets sharp students from Classes 10 to 12, testing their brains while giving them a cool peek into the Indian Navy’s daily life, traditions, and strong values.
Registrations kicked off on June 10, and this huge response shows just how pumped students and schools across India are to join this top-notch competition. Right now, elimination rounds are in full swing, with schools battling it out to grab spots in the semis. Once those wrap up, the top 16 teams will head to the semi-finals and finals.
In related news, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh connected with students earlier this week at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Navy Children School (NCS) in Delhi. He inspired them to carry national pride in everything they do.
Speaking to the young crowd, Rajnath Singh urged them to chase dreams with real purpose and tackle goals honestly. He advised staying humble but strong, and handling duties with respect no matter what.
The minister highlighted building good character during school years, praising NCS for molding students through discipline, service, and love for the country. He pointed out that Defence Ministry schools aren’t just for books—they’re key in nation-building, teaching the next generation about leadership, honesty, and duty.
At the event, officials gave Rajnath Singh a rundown on NCS’s goals and successes. Students shared how the school boosts their all-around growth. They even gifted him handmade tokens of appreciation, plus a special Coffee Table Book and the school’s crest.
