On 75th birthday, PM Modi to lay foundation stone of ‘PM Mitra’ park in MP

PM Modi to Celebrate 75th Birthday in Madhya Pradesh with Major Announcements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make his 75th birthday special by visiting Madhya Pradesh on September 17. During this trip, he’ll lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA textile park in the tribal-dominated Dhar district. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared this exciting news in a press statement, calling it a "big gift" for the state.

This won’t be Modi’s first birthday visit to Madhya Pradesh. Back in 2022, on his 72nd birthday, he marked a historic moment by releasing eight Namibian cheetahs into Kuno National Park. That event kicked off Project Cheetah, India’s bold effort to bring back the cheetah after nearly eight decades of extinction. The project faced challenges, like the loss of some cheetahs, but it’s turning into a real success story. Starting with 20 cheetahs imported in two phases—eight from Namibia in 2022 and 12 from South Africa in 2023—the population has grown to 30. Now, 19 cheetah cubs have been born in India, and five adult cheetahs have even moved to Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary. Madhya Pradesh, often called the "tiger state," continues to shine in wildlife conservation thanks to these efforts.

On this upcoming visit, PM Modi will also launch two key national campaigns: ‘Seva Pakhwada’ and ‘Healthy Woman, Empowered Family’. These initiatives focus on community service and women’s health, aiming to empower families across India. Chief Minister Yadav highlighted how Modi’s visits always bring new development projects to the state, which is known as the political "laboratory" of the RSS.

The highlight of the trip is the PM MITRA park in Dhar. PM MITRA stands for Prime Minister’s Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel parks—a government scheme to boost India’s textile industry. These parks create world-class infrastructure that brings together the entire textile value chain in one spot. The goal? Attract big investments, create thousands of jobs, and ramp up exports. Dhar in Madhya Pradesh is one of seven selected locations for these parks, joining spots like Virudhunagar in Tamil Nadu, Warangal in Telangana, Navsari in Gujarat, Kalaburagi in Karnataka, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, and Amravati in Maharashtra.

This PM MITRA textile park promises to transform Madhya Pradesh’s economy, especially in the textile sector. With PM Modi’s push for industrial growth, the state looks forward to more opportunities and progress. Stay tuned for updates on this landmark event!
