Arjun Das, the rising Tamil actor known for his roles in films like Master, just poured his heart out in a touching social media post about his experience on the set of the upcoming action thriller They Call Him OG. Directed by Sujeeth, the movie stars Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan in the lead, and Das plays a key supporting role.

In a lengthy three-page message shared on Wednesday, Das first showered praise on the entire cast and crew for making the shoot unforgettable. But he saved his biggest thanks for Pawan Kalyan, whom he now calls his “Annaya,” meaning elder brother in Telugu.

Das shared how Pawan Kalyan’s fans would approach him during filming, eagerly asking for updates on the Power Star and his well-being. “I’d just say he’s doing great, and they’d walk away smiling,” Das wrote in a mix of Telugu and English. He explained that this love stems from Pawan’s genuine charm, which touches everyone around him.

Recalling their first chat, Das said he was starstruck when Pawan mentioned watching his interviews. “I rushed to call my parents and told them Pawan Kalyan knows my name!” he added with excitement. Despite their limited talks—totaling just about two hours over the whole shoot—Das treasures every moment. He described Pawan as the ultimate Power Star, not just for his on-screen style, but for his heartfelt kindness, hard work, and humility.

Das highlighted small gestures that meant the world to him. Even with a packed schedule and crowds waiting, Pawan gave him his full attention. During a bloody scene, Pawan changed his shirt just so Das could snap a photo together. Das also appreciated Pawan’s shoutout on Twitter when he lent his voice to a project called HHVM.

“I’m always just a call or message away for you, no favors needed,” Das assured. He expressed hope to collaborate again and admitted he’ll miss their daily hugs on set. Looking ahead, Das vowed to jump at any chance to work with Pawan, even for a quick voice-over or a blurry background cameo. “You feel like family,” he concluded, sealing the bond by dubbing him Pawan Annaya.

Fans of South Indian cinema are buzzing over this brotherly tribute, showing once again why Pawan Kalyan commands such loyalty in the industry.
