Farah Khan just dropped a fun bombshell on social media that has Bollywood fans buzzing! The popular choreographer, filmmaker, and YouTuber stepped in to host the latest “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode on “Bigg Boss 19” while Salman Khan took a break. And guess who joined her? None other than Akshay Kumar, who was there promoting his upcoming courtroom drama “Jolly LLB 3.”
In an Instagram Story, Farah shared a cute selfie with Akshay from the “Bigg Boss 19” sets. She couldn’t hide her excitement about hosting with him and cheekily asked, “Tees Maar Khan 2 banayein kya?? @akshaykumar such fun hosting together!” Fans are already loving the idea of a sequel to their 2010 heist comedy “Tees Maar Khan.”
Remember “Tees Maar Khan”? Farah Khan directed this remake of the 1966 Italian film “After the Fox.” It stars Akshay Kumar as the lead, alongside Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif. Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor even made special appearances. Though it got mixed reviews back then, the movie has turned into a cult favorite over the years. Who can forget the iconic dance number “Sheila Ki Jawani” or Akshaye Khanna’s hilarious take on the over-the-top superstar Aatish Kapoor? It’s pure Bollywood parody gold!
Akshay’s visit to “Bigg Boss 19” was all about hyping “Jolly LLB 3,” the third installment in the hit “Jolly LLB” series. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, this black comedy legal drama brings back Akshay Kumar as the clever lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra. Joining him are Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao, and Saurabh Shukla, with more familiar faces from the franchise.
The series kicked off in 2013 with the first “Jolly LLB,” which followed young advocate Jagdish Tyagi (aka Jolly) fighting for justice for six innocent laborers.
