Millie Bobby Brown calls Eleven’s arc ‘most meaningful story to tell’
London: Hollywood star Millie Bobby Brown is gearing up to drop the fifth season of Stranger Things and filled her feeds with an emotional note about how the series has surpassed every expectation for her.
The show, a creation of the Duffer Brothers, blends horror, sci‑fi, mystery, fantasy and coming‑of‑age drama.
When Millie posted then‑and‑now shots from the Stranger Things set, she told fans: “This show has given me so much. But most importantly, the most meaningful story to tell, el’s. thank you to the duffers for taking a chance on everything you shouldn’t have wanted.”
Set in the 1980s, the plot follows the quirky residents of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, after a young girl with psychokinetic powers unlocks a doorway to a hostile alternate dimension called the Upside Down at a nearby research facility.
She added, “A British girl, with a huge family, a lot of energy, a strong point of view, but a heart that would work tirelessly for the character you built. enjoy volume 1 folks. see you on the right side up.”
Season 5, and the series’ finale, will be released in three parts across November and December 2025. The lineup includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Linda Hamilton.
The final arc shows Hawkins left scarred after the rifts open. The town’s forces now face a single goal: locate and destroy Vecna, who has slipped into the shadows.
Adding complexity, government forces have sealed the town, and as Will’s disappearance anniversary approaches, a familiar dread settles over the community. Will the team manage to regain control?
As Stranger Things Season 5 resumes where Season 4 left off, Max remains in the hospital with Lucas by her side. Will still feels a pull from the demonic realms, while Eleven must return to confront Vecna.
