CM Yogi Adityanath condemns Delhi blast, prays for victims as national leaders rally in solidarity

Lucknow, Nov 10 – Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over a car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed ten people and wounded dozens. The blast, which erupted close to Gate No. 1 of Lal Qila metro station, sent shockwaves through Old Delhi and sparked panic among residents.
Adityanath posted a heartfelt message on X, offering condolences to the families of the victims and praying for the quick recovery of the injured. He asked Lord Shri Ram for comfort and strength during this tragic time.
Police reports say the explosion was powerful enough that seven fire trucks were dispatched to put out the flames, while the area was cordoned off. Eyewitnesses heard a roar “like the earth caving in” and saw black smoke rise from the wreckage.
Earlier today, the Jammu and Kashmir Police uncovered a cross‑border terror cell linked to Jaish‑e‑Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat‑ul‑Hind. The raid in Faridabad, Haryana, seized 2,900 kg of explosives, assault rifles, pistols, timers and other weapons, and led to the arrest of seven suspects. This security crackdown follows the Red Fort blast, just one day before the second phase of the Bihar assembly elections.
