Popular actress Rashmika Mandanna, known as the “National Crush,” recently opened up about the struggles of catching early morning flights. She called her 3:50 AM flights the “worst,” sharing how the choice between sleeping or staying awake leaves her feeling tired and groggy no matter what.
Rashmika took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of the airplane window at that early hour. She didn’t mention her destination or reason for her travel but joked about the discomfort of early flights. She captioned the photo, “Rashmika 350am flights are the Worst. It’s neither morning nor night…”
She also shared her dilemma: “Should I sleep for 2 hours, wake up, and work (but then I’ll feel super sick and groggy), or should I stay awake, do some work, and then sleep later? These are the toughest decisions I face daily,” she wrote.
On the work front, Rashmika has some exciting projects lined up. She will soon be seen in the movie "Thama," where she will act alongside Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time. The film, set in a fictional world, also features stars like Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
"Thama" tells the story of a historian who digs into ancient manuscripts and uncovers dark secrets about local vampire folklore, as supernatural forces start to awaken. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for "Munjya," and is scheduled for a worldwide release this Diwali.
Besides that, Rashmika is also excited about her upcoming Telugu movie, "The Girlfriend," directed by Rahul Ravindran. She shared her enthusiasm earlier, saying, “This project means a lot to me, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. The music video for ‘Nadhive’ recently released, and I’m grateful for the love you showed. Thank you!”
"The Girlfriend" is a romantic drama produced by GA2 Pictures, Mass Movie Makers, and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Its teaser, released in December 2024, hints at a love story without revealing too much. The film focuses on the romantic journey of Rashmika’s character, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
Rashmika also described "Thama" as a film that combines love with supernatural elements. “It’s a gripping, fun story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. No spoilers for now!” she said, adding that the movie is close to her heart.
The 29-year-old actress, who also runs her own foundation called Dear Diary, continues to impress fans with her versatile roles and candid personality. Fans can look forward to her upcoming films and more updates from this talented star!
