In Mumbai on December 10, playback singer Shaan and politician Navjyot Singh Sidhu lightened the mood on the set of India’s Got Talent by pulling off a playful impersonation of music director Anu Malik.
While the episode was unfolding, two contestants—Divyansh and Rishabh—stepped back on stage to deliver an energetic rendition of Malik’s track “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein”. Their mix of beat‑boxing, singing and rhythmic flair had the judges rising from their seats, clapping and cheering, turning the performance into a steal of the show.
Afterwards, Shaan and Sidhu slipped into their Anu Malik mimic with ease. In keeping with the composer’s signature style, Shaan leaned into the microphone and sang, “Aapne kamaal kar diya… aag laga di”.
Sidhu’s take added an extra layer of entertainment, and Malaika Arora laughed and remarked, “I have never heard beat boxing, it is the first time I am listening to it.”
The beat‑boxer Divyansh later shared, “When I came to Mumbai for the very first time in 2018, it was Shaan sir who gave me my first break and chance. Everything I am here today is because of his support, blessings, and love.”
The duo even pulled in memories of old favorites when Shaan revived his timeless hit “Main Aisa Kyon Hoon”, creating a mix of talent, nostalgia, humor and heartfelt gratitude that makes this episode a must‑watch for fans of music and performance.
Earlier in the program, actor Chunky Panday ramped up the energy once more. He and Malaika grabbed a bright red dupatta and danced to the fun beat of “Lal Duppatte Wali Tera Naam Toh Bata”, earning louder cheers from the audience with every beat.
The show features the likes of Malaika Arora, Navjyot Singh Sidhu and Shaan, and is hosted by Harssh Limbhachiyaa. It airs on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
