D4vd cancels world tour as cops investigate murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez

Rising star D4vd, the 20-year-old singer behind the hit “Romantic Homicide,” has pulled the plug on his entire world tour. This shocking move comes amid a police investigation into the tragic death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decomposing body was discovered in the trunk of his Tesla.

The cancellations hit hard for fans. D4vd scrapped upcoming shows in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and even a string of European dates. According to sources, his record label isn’t helping matters—they’ve halted all promotion for the deluxe edition of his latest album. Big names like Universal Music Group, Sony Music Publishing, and Wasserman have frozen everything related to the pop sensation.

Police found Celeste’s body on September 8, just one day after her 15th birthday, in a Tesla impounded at a Hollywood tow lot. Workers there noticed a foul smell coming from the car and called cops right away. The vehicle belongs to D4vd, whose real name is David Austen Burke. While authorities haven’t named him as a suspect, the Los Angeles Police Department raided a Hollywood Hills house where he was staying. They seized several pieces of evidence, as confirmed to The Post.

The case keeps getting more mysterious with new links surfacing. Old screenshots from D4vd’s Discord fan server hint at rumors of him dating a teen named “Celeste” years ago. Photos circulating online show D4vd with a young woman who looks strikingly like Celeste, including one from a live stream where they answer fan questions together. Her missing posters from 2024, shared by the Riverside Sheriff’s Office, match the images closely.

Celeste’s mom told TMZ her daughter was dating someone named David before she vanished. Adding to the intrigue, D4vd dropped an unreleased track last year where he mentions “Celeste” twice. In the lyrics, he sings, “Oh, Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest, smell her on my clothes like cigarettes.” The song started buzzing online after police identified the teen in the trunk.

For now, no charges have been filed. D4vd is cooperating fully with investigators, as reported by the LA Times. With over 2 million Instagram followers, the artist’s career hangs in the balance as this heartbreaking story unfolds. Stay tuned for updates on the D4vd tour cancellation and the ongoing Celeste Rivas Hernandez investigation.
