A shocking shooting in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has left residents on edge, with another life claimed by what locals call targeted violence. On Thursday, unidentified gunmen burst into a house in the Nazarabad area of Tump tehsil, Kech district, and fired at a man named Altaf, son of Ata. He died on the spot, and the attackers escaped before anyone could catch them, according to reports from The Balochistan Post.
Eyewitnesses and local sources say these armed men belong to so-called death squads—mysterious groups often accused of working with Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies.
