The two teams from the Khalsa Hockey Academy in Amritsar and HAR Hockey Academy earned spots in the final of the 3rd Hockey India Sub‑Junior Women Academy Championship 2025 for Zones A & B, which will be held at the Kailash Hockey Stadium in Karnal this Saturday.
Khalsa Hockey Academy clinched a 2‑1 victory over Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy from Sonepat. The score was driven by Laxmi, who netted twice in the 10th and 32nd minutes, while Diya scored once in the 6th minute for Pritam Siwach.
Meanwhile, HAR Hockey Academy completed a 16‑0 rout of the Sports Hockey Academy of Khalsa’s Kolkata side in the second semifinal. Four players—Vishakha, Antika, and captain Radhika—each added four goals (at 7, 14, 16, 43 minutes for Vishakha; 22, 45, 54, 60 minutes for Antika; 21, 49, 58, 58 minutes for Radhika). Jyoti, Himanshi, and Anjali also chipped in with goals at 13, 27, 28, and 52 minutes.
Earlier in the tournament, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy beat Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy 2‑0. Nancy Saroha and Diya scored in the 23rd and 53rd minutes, respectively, securing the top spot in Pool A.
In Pool B, HAR Academy demolished Hockey Family Badhkhalsa NCR Hockey Society 31‑0. Ankita scored six goals (7, 8, 10, 14, 41, 45 minutes), while Vishakha, Anjali, and Jyoti each added five (Vishakha—37, 38, 38, 45, 49; Anjali—2, 9, 15, 42, 50; Jyoti—11, 19, 32, 35, 37). Bharti netted four (28, 55, 58, 60 minutes) and Tamanna found the net twice (12, 57 minutes). Vanshika, Tannu, Kaphi, and Himanshi each supplied one goal at 33, 50, 56, and 30 minutes, respectively.
Khalsa Hockey Academy edged R K Roy Hockey Academy 3‑0, with Jashandeep Kaur, Laxmi, and Muskan Gill scoring at 21, 26, and 41 minutes. Meanwhile, Markandeshwar Hockey Academy ran through Raja Karan Hockey Academy 5‑0, as Anchal, Nancy Kashyap, Aashna Kamboj, and Divya tallied goals in the 4, 44, 48, 35, and 47 minutes.
The 3rd Hockey India Sub‑Junior Women Academy Championship 2025 (Zones A & B) kicked off on November 15 at the Kailash Hockey Stadium in Karnal, gathering bright young talent from India’s top hockey academies. The tournament will culminate with the grand finale on Sunday.
