MTG gets engaged to Trump-loving White House reporter ahead of exit from Congress: ‘Happily ever after’
Marjorie Taylor Greene, the fiery Texas‑born representative, tied the knot with Real America’s Voice’s chief White‑House correspondent, Brian Glenn, just weeks before she’s set to leave Congress.
The couple smiled at cameras while Greene flashed a bright diamond band at a chic downtown bistro, where Glenn is expected to have popped the question. “She said ‘yes,’ he cheered on X.” “Happily ever after!!!” Greene exclaimed. “Love you.”
The pair have been linked publicly since at least 2023, after Greene ended her marriage to Perry in 2022. The engagement comes on top of her scheduled resignation from the House on January 5, 2026, following a month‑long clash with President Trump.
Greene had been openly critical of Trump, even backing a push to release the Justice Department’s files on former sex‑predator Jeffrey Epstein. Trump, after months of Greene’s pointed critiques, branded her a “traitor,” prompting her to announce her departure.
Her early exit will chip away at the GOP’s already thin majority, making it harder for the party to advance major legislation on a straight party‑line. Oddly, both Greene and Glenn first bonded over Trump.
Glenn recalled in a Washington Post interview that he saw her as “mystical — like a unicorn.” He’s known for asking Trump flattering questions in White‑House rallies, and during the Greene‑Trump spat he declared his love for Greene while keeping his praise for the president. “I’m like the little divorced kid in the middle,” Glenn told the outlet about the rift, adding, “I gotta go with ‘Mom’ here.”
Glenn has said he plans to step back from his White‑House beat and join Greene back in Georgia. Trump has reached out to him, saying, “We love you, Brian. I’ve always said he’s a good man.”
In reply, Glenn told reporters, “Oh, I love you too, Mr. President,” trying to show that his support for Greene won’t hurt his rapport with the president.
After Greene announced she would move back to the Peach State full‑time, Glenn revealed he would do the same. “I’m not doing this fly‑back‑and‑forth thing — not doing it, it’s not worth it,” he told the Washington Post, noting that Real America’s Voice will set up a studio near his Georgia home.
“I’ll do whatever content from there [Georgia] — either contribute to the network or do something else as well, another show or something.”
