Jaipur, Dec 13 (LatestNewsX) – Rajasthan’s BJP leader Madan Rathore took to the podium on Saturday to confront Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra. He warned that if Dotasra truly has evidence to pit the previous administration against the current one, the appropriate forum is the state legislature, not a public rally in Albert Hall.
Rathore pledged that he would ask Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to set aside an entire day during the ongoing Assembly session for a comprehensive debate on the two governments’ records: five years for the Congress and two for the BJP.
Calling the Congress agenda “falsehoods,” he criticized the former leaders for squandering five years of public service on internal squabbles. According to Rathore, those same figures are now tricking voters and dodging a proper legislative review of a government that is already showing tangible progress.
He highlighted the BJP’s achievements under Sharma’s “able” stewardship, claiming that in just two years the party has delivered historic wins for Rajasthan. Key successes cited included breakthrough water‑security accords, strides toward energy self‑sufficiency, job creation for the youth, and upgrades in industry, education, and health.
Rathore further alleged that Rajasthan’s troubles were no accident but a consequence of the Congress era. He pointed out the state’s grim standing on national lists for inflation, corruption, unemployment, paper leaks, crimes against women, communal flare‑ups, and cyber‑illicit acts. In contrast, he argued, the BJP government has tackled these woes decisively, enforced accountability, and rolled out policies aimed at giving relief to every segment of society.
He concluded that within only two years the BJP has spurred measurable improvement across many sectors, transforming a dire situation into a hopeful trajectory.
