The match turned into a goal-fest right from the start, with star players shining bright. Mumtaz Khan kicked things off just two minutes in, firing a powerful reverse stick shot from the top of the circle to put India 1-0 up. The Indian women’s hockey team kept the pressure on, and Neha quickly made it 2-0 in the 11th minute by pouncing on a rebound and slotting it home with a clever touch.

Udita added one more from a penalty corner just before halftime, giving India a massive 7-0 lead.

After the break, the Indian team controlled the game with sharp passes and smart flank switches. In the 32nd minute, Lalremsiami assisted Mumtaz for her second goal, pushing the score to 8-0. Neha netted her brace in the 38th from a penalty corner, and Mumtaz soon completed her own hat-trick in the 39th.
