Filmmaker Karan Johar just took us on a fun nostalgia trip by linking his 2012 hit Bollywood movie Student of the Year to the popular teen drama The Summer I Turned Pretty. If you’re a fan of either, this crossover will make you smile!
Karan cleverly jumped into the heated fan debate from The Summer I Turned Pretty, where everyone picks sides between Team Conrad (played by Christopher Briney) and Team Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), with Lola Tung as the lead Belly Conklin in that love triangle. But Karan? He flipped it with his own twist, shouting out Team Rohan or Team Abhimanyu from his film.
On his Instagram Stories, Karan posted a throwback photo of stars Varun Dhawan (as Rohan Nanda) and Sidharth Malhotra (as Abhimanyu Singh), both looking dashing from the movie.
