Six teens were injured when a mass shooting broke out at the Burbuja Events catering hall in Cypress Hills early Sunday morning. Police say the gunmen are still at large. Officers arrived at 2929 Atlantic Avenue after a 911 call sent them to a scene where the victims had gunshot wounds. At the venue, three 15‑year‑olds were found—one girl with injuries to her chest, hip and leg; another girl with a wound on her right leg; and a boy who was shot in his left arm. The other three were older: a 16‑year‑old boy with a right‑arm wound, another 16‑year‑old hit in the left foot, and a 17‑year‑old male with a right‑thigh injury. Four of the injured were taken to Brookdale Hospital and the remaining two to Kings County. All six are currently reported as stable, but police continue their search for the suspects. Footage captured at the scene shows emergency medical services transporting the wounded while crime‑scene investigators secure the area outside the “Champagne Lounge” inside the event space.
