Sara Ali Khan says the town of Kedarnath is the one place in the world that feels absolutely familiar, even though she still never fails to be amazed each time she visits. The Mumbai‑based actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of photos and videos from her latest trip, captioning them with “Jai Shree Kedar – the only place in the world that feels totally familiar and still leaves me awestruck and in wonder every single time / Only gratitude. Thank you for giving me everything that I have and making me everything that I am.”
The carousel shows Sara standing in front of towering Himalayan peaks, watching sunsets, and posing with local villagers. One clip even captures her chatting happily with residents and tasting regional sweets. The shots highlight why the god‑touched shrine is so special to the actress.
It’s not her first time trekking to Kedarnath. In October of last year, she posted another set of images, praising the flow of the Mandakini river, the sound of the aarti, and the “milky ocean” of clouds surrounding the shrine. “Jai Shree Kedar – the flowing of Mandakini. While she’s on break from the sets, Sara is preparing to team up with Ayushmann Khurrana for their first film together, the romantic comedy “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.” The new movie follows the 2019 hit “Pati Patni Aur Woh,” which itself was a remake of a 1978 classic. Branded as a spiritual sequel, the film is expected to bring fresh laughs and heart to Bollywood fans.
The actress also recently appeared on the big screen in Anurag Basu’s “Metro… In Dino,” giving her fans a taste of her latest acting work before she takes to the Himalayas again.
