New Delhi – On Saturday, New Delhi and the Andhra Pradesh Government formalised a partnership to modernise the state’s logistics system. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) brings together NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) and the state’s Infrastructure Corporation (INCAP) to roll out the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP).
ULIP will create a single, digital dashboard that gives instant access to key logistics data. Stakeholders—from trucking companies to port operators—will see real‑time information about shipments, equipment, and performance metrics at a glance. The platform should make coordination smoother, cut delays, and help decision‑makers spot problems before they grow.
The agreement is part of the broader National Logistics Policy (NLP) that aims to build world‑class supply‑chain infrastructure across India. By integrating 44 government systems through 136 APIs, ULIP already offers more than 2,000 data fields. Commercial firms have built over 210 applications that record more than 20 billion API calls, proving the platform’s scalability.
INCAP will collaborate with NLDSL to build an analytics dashboard tailored to Andhra Pradesh’s needs. The tool will track key performance indicators (KPIs) across state departments and deliver data‑driven insights. Ministries such as Coal and the Food Corporation of India already use ULIP to pull and share logistics data efficiently.
The MoU was signed during the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, a gathering that highlighted the growing role of technology in India’s logistics sector. This alliance marks a pivotal step toward a smarter, more resilient supply chain and reinforces India’s standing as a global leader in modern logistics infrastructure.
